Suicide Prevention on Higher Education Campuses

In South Dakota, more than 13% of 18–25-year-olds have experienced suicidal thoughts in the last year. This comprehensive online toolkit is designed to promote resources, awareness and the 988 Lifeline on higher education campuses, letting young adults know that help and hope are here.

How to Use this Toolkit

We can all do our part to help prevent suicide in South Dakota. This toolkit shares resources, provides vital information and helps address this serious health problem. Suicidal thoughts can affect anyone regardless of age, sex, race or background, so it’s important to speak up, show support and be proactive.
