Overdose Cluster Toolkit

In 2023, 65 South Dakotans died from unintentional and preventable overdoses. Overdoses involving highly potent and illicit fentanyl have also increased in recent years. These deaths are tragic – and preventable. Communities, schools, health care providers and other organizations can download these materials in case of an overdose cluster where you live.

How to Use this Toolkit

This toolkit is designed to inform and educate, ensuring we're talking about overdose clusters without stigma and spreading awareness of resources for prevention and treatment. Download our toolkit with materials and talking points to help you respond to an overdose cluster in your community.
