The two most common mental health conditions fall into
depression and anxiety categories.
Depression
Depression can be triggered by trauma, major life changes, physical illnesses, substance use – or nothing at all. Many people have experienced at least one major depressive episode, and factors like seasonality, genetics and brain changes can contribute to it. Learn about the five different types of depression.
